Ghanaian Supporters Flee Natal Camp….Flight Might Return Home Half Empty

A section of Ghanaian supporters who traveled to Brazil with an ulterior motive of seeking greener pastures in the Latin American country have started fleeing the supporters camp in Natal, Ghanasportsonline can confirm.

Ghana Sports sources in Natal reveal that some of the supporters who could not catch a flight to support the Black Stars against Germany in Fortaleza did not return to the supporters camp.

One of the supporters who spoke to Ghana Sports on anonymity said. “Massa me I don’t have any better work to do in Ghana o..so I didn’t come here for fun.”

“I am just a Trotro driver so I saved for this trip. My Uncle is in Rio de Jeneirio so I am going to join him there. He is picking me up. “Meeko Ghana ako ye den”?

He rhetorically asked. Meaning what am I going back to Ghana to do?

A number of supporters who traveled to Brazil in the name of supporting the Black Stars might end up not returning to Ghana. “Some Ghanaians use Brazil as entry point to the USA. They go through Panama.” A Ghanaian resident in Brazil told Ghanasportonline.com
