Actress Nikki Samonas believes despite the Black Stars painful 2-1 defeat to the United States, the team can still qualify to the next stage of the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
“Even though Ghana lost her first match against United States of America, our boys played a wonderful game of which Andre Dede Ayew has earned himself a wonderful kiss.”
Prior to the USA match, she promised to kiss the first Ghanaian player who would score against the Yankees.
According to her, Ghanaians should not be discouraged because of the defeat but instead rally behind the team, motivate and support them with prayers going into their next group G clash with Germans who trashed Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal 4-0.
She said “Ghanaians, we should not be discouraged but rather rally behind our team not to lose focus and moral. We should motivate and encourage them in their next match against Germany this Saturday.”
“I believe our Ghana Black Stars will make it with our motivation, support and prayers” she said in a video circulating online.
