Ghana’s gospel music industry is about to witness another sensational and inspiring gospel music artiste, Emmanuella Owusu, known in the gospel music scene as Nyame Akedee, who is yet to release her gospel album on ABKB Records label.
According to the management of ABKB Records, preparations are far advanced to outdoor Emmanuella as well as launch her maiden gospel album on the music market.
Emmanuella, who seems unperturbed about the challenges ahead of her disclosed to BEATWAVES in a chat that, ‘I have taken my musical career very serious. I have been singing for years and thank God my album will soon be released.’
A source close to the management of ABKB Records told BEATWAVES in an interview that the songs on Emmanuella’s upcoming album reflect on some of the challenges Christians encounter in their day-to- day activities.
He said, ‘With her presence in the music scene, Emmanuella, who is a student at the Action Secondary Technical School, has promised to run things in a different dimension with support from ABKB Records label based at East Legon.
There are a lot of talents around the country, so we are targeting those talented youngsters who have never had the opportunity to showcase their hidden talents.
There are lots of talents in Ghana which need to be unearthed and nurtured. We believe developing talent in the youth will help many young people in Ghana to realise their full potential.’
The management of ABKA Records a few weeks ago announced that it had officially signed another upcoming gospel artiste, Benedicta on its label. Benedicta is currently working on her new album titled ‘Onyame Ben Ni’, produced by ABKB Records.
