Kwadwo Asamoah: I Want To Play Up Front

The Ghanaian star has registered his displeasure at playing as a pure left-back for the Black Stars and wants to change roles.

Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah has emphasized that he wants to play at his favourite midfield role rather than being deployed as a left-back.

The Juventus star was played by coach Kwesi Appiah as a rearguard in yesterday’s 2-1 lost to the USA.

“I am a player who likes to take on opponents, playing at the back makes it more difficult for me, I want to play up front but all lies with the decision of the coach,” Asamoah told Accra-based Happy FM.

Ghana will lock horns with Germany in a crunch battle on Saturday of which the west Africans should get at least a point to keep their World Cup hopes alive.
