TECNO GHANA LAUNCHES NEWEST SMART PHONE, THE TECNO ‘R7’

Leading dual-sim mobile phone manufacturing company, Techno Ghana has launched the 1.5 GHz 6 Core Processor handheld device, the TECNO R7, on to the Ghanaian Market. The stylishly embodied phone runs on the Android 4.2 jelly bean operating system plus a 13.0 pixel camera quality with 5.5 size Gorilla glass HD touch, and memory accommodation of 16 Gigabyte ROM and 2 Gigabyte RAM.

Business Manager of TECNO Daniel Glover, has established the new product is a revolutionary kind and shall take the Ghanaian market by storm. He endorses that the device is futuristic in many ways considering it feature accessories. Mr. Glover acknowledged that in support of bridging the digital divide with hi-tech quality products into the country, MTN Ghana has concurrently offered a 1Gigabyte free data for six months as additional portfolio.

The ‘new release’ R7 phone which goes for an appreciable price is auto-complete with a dial pad, social media and chat friendly. It is currently hailed the brand’s most sophisticated yet as it was unveiled at a short ceremony in Accra. Mr. Glover opined that careful consideration was taken to price the product due to the depreciation of on the local currency, the cedi, in order to make it largely affordable for all.

On May 31st 2014, TECNO Mobile swept two major awards for the mobile handheld device categories at this year’s edition of the prestigious Ghana Telecom Awards. TECNO’s flagship phone Phantom, won Smartphone of the Year Award, while its distributing outlet Mobile Zone, won Distributor of the Year Award for the third straight year.

CEO of TECNO, Maxwell Techie revealed the secrete behind the company’s growing successes saying “We are excited about this. My team have worked hard to make it happen.” Acknowledging that the company’s output and that of few others is making case for indigenous local businesses. Adding ” this would encourage us to do more. Our recent successes in Africa are ample proof of how serious we take what we do.”

However, in a bid to opening the African market space TECNO has expressed interest in transforming advanced technology into localized products, hence their motto “think globally, act locally”. To this end, Mr. Glover revealed the company has already purchased an unspecified acres of land at a free-zone location, with plans to establish an assembling hub in order to locally assemble their phones in Ghana. The company believes this will further provide jobs for the industrial youth in the country.

TECNO, the fastest growing mobile phone brand is currently headquartered in Hong Kong (China) with it operations centre in Dubai while it Research and Development centres in France and Korea.
