Germany will beat Ghana: Nelly the elephant predicts doom for Ghana

Do you remember Paul the Octopus? The eight-legged creature who ran his rule over a lot of match predictions during Euro 2008 and FIFA World Cup 2010?

Now it has emerged that an elephant from the locales of the Serengeti Park comes with abilities similar to Paul.

The elephant, namely ‘Nelly’, is no rookie!
It has predicted 30 of 33 results correctly of the World Cup in South Africa, Euro 2012 and the Champions League final of 2013. So, she means business.

Nelly apparently has predicted Germany will thrash Ghana and the USA and draw with Portugal during their Group G campaign.

“I share Nelly’s predictions, that we will draw against Portugal and win against the USA and Ghana. So we’ll stay in the tournament,” former Germany national goalkeeper, Sepp Maier, said.

Nelly has to her credit, the correct prediction of the UEFA Champions League winner as Bayern Munich over local rivals Borrussia Dortmund in 2013.

With just eight days for the FIFA World Cup 2014 to begin, a lot of eyes will be on Nelly and the team she picks along the way during her incredible predictions.

Ghana will meet Germany at the Estádio Castelão on June 21.
