A cross section of the the New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters on Monday, 2nd June, paid an unannounced visit to the party headquarters to reassure the newly elected officers of their total support in the performance of their duties as an executive.
In a charged atmosphere, the spokesperson, Achibald Cobbina, urged the National officers to be encouraged by the total endorsement given them in Tamale and to pursue a program that would ensure that the NPP delivers effectively to ensure that we recapture in 2016.
The National officers who were at post, included the National Chairman, Mr. Paul Afoko, The General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong, second Vice Chairman, Sammy Crabbe and the National Treasurer, Abankwa Yeboah.
On behalf of the steering committee, Kwabena Agyepong thanked the gallant soldiers for their dedication and sacrifice to the party. He was elated by the energy of the officers who sang patriotic songs and encouraged the team to remain composed to deliver their mandate. The Chairman of the party reechoed what the General Secretary said and called for unity as the party prepares to open nominations.
