Speaking to newsmen in Kaduna, Malam Yusuf Arrigasiyyu, the President of the society, who condemned the killing described the activities of the sect as devilish and totally against the teaching and doctrine of Islam noting that Islam preaches peace and love.

Arrigasiyyu urged the federal and state governments to constitute a committee of security experts to investigate the killing and unveil the perpetrators whom he described as satanic and devilish.

According to him, the killing was beyond human imagination, adding that criminals use the cover of Boko Haram insurgency to perpetrate evil acts on innocent citizens.

He expressed the belief that the present security challenges facing the country are beyond Boko Haram and advised government to look into the issue, alleging that the scope of atrocities in the North East may have external influences.

The MSSN president also urged the Federal Government not to allow the insurgents to continue to operate with impunity, adding that their activities must be checkmated in the interest of the nation.

“if a first class traditional ruler can be killed like this with security attached to them, then who is safe” he said.

He commended the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, on his effort in preaching peace and mutual understanding among various religions in the country and advised youths to shun violence and seek for knowledge, so as not to be misled by selfish and bad religious scholars preaching wrong ideologies.

Arrigasiyyu, however, appealed to the Boko Haram sect to release the Chibok girls in their custody, while calling for prayers for peace and stability in the country.

It would be recalled that the Emir of Gwoza, Alhaji Idrissa Timta was killed on Friday on his way to the funeral of Late Emir of Gombe, Alhaji Usman Abubakar.
