Maradona in trouble: Kotoko PRO arrested and detained

Asante Kotoko Public Relations Officer Alhaji Ali Maradona was arrested on Sunday and is being held in Police custody.

He was involved in a scuffle with one of the policemen who were in charge of the Kotoko goalless draw game with Hearts of Oak on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

 After all attempts to calm him down had failed DCOP Kofi Boakye, the Ashanti Regional police Commander, who happened to be closer to the scenes ordered for his arrest and passed the night in the cells, because he was not granted bail.

Sources close to allsports.com.gh can confirm he will be released in the course of the day.
