Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has tipped his native Portugal and Germany to edge out Ghana and USA in a group where he expects no team to finish on zero points.
Ghana has been housed in Group G with Portugal, Germany and USA at the biggest football showpiece in Brazil.
The Chelsea manager believes Germany and Portugal will sail through to the next round, meaning his ‘son’ Michael Essien and Ghana will fail to get out of one of the tougher-looking groups at the tournament.
” (Group G) is a very difficult group, it’s a group I can say for sure nobody will finish with zero point, so one point here, one point there,” the Portuguese told Yahoo Sport.
“I’m sorry but Germany first and Portugal runner-up”
“But i’m afraid of the USA, i’m really afraid of our (Portugal) game against US.”
Ghana will be opening their group game with the United States on June 16 in Natal.
