Accra, May 29, GNA- Lym Haus Solutions, a creative communications company in Ghana, has devised a way of mobilising support for the Black Stars ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil christened: ‘The Flag of Vim Campaign.’

The campaign, which has an eight by 100 feet giant Ghana flag, intends to accommodate the signatures of as many Ghanaians as possible to show solidarity and support for the Black Stars.

Mr. Matthew Ansah, leader of the campaign team, said the campaign would feature signatures from the presidency, parliament, judiciary, private sector workers, public sector workers, school children, religious bodies and any Ghanaian who wants to give the Black Stars vim as they take on giants like Portugal, Germany and USA.

He said the giant flag, which is being taken round the country, would be flown to Brazil and officially handed over to the Black Stars.

Mr. Ansah said it was unfortunate that the government had said it would send only small number of supporters to Brazil to cheer the Black Stars.

He said the cost of sending one fan to Brazil is $13,500 adding, ‘Clearly this means that few supporters can make it to Brazil in person to cheer our Stars on.’

Mr Ansah said millions were stranded in their desire to express their love for football and support for the Black Stars therefore there was a need to embark on a campaign that would represent the faith of the nation.

He said the campaign team would be touring the country from May 26 to June 9. ‘The campaign is gathering momentum and it is Ghana’s biggest gift to the Black Stars, as each signature will carry the hope of the person or expression of support for the Black Stars in their quest for glory,’ Mr Ansah said.
