Speaking at the ceremony, the founder of the school Mariam Adeibi expressed her happiness for Samini’s gesture.

“Some of the kids haven’t see Samini before, they’ve never been on television before, they’ve never had a party like this to mingle with the privileged. This is the first time, so I think it will go a long way to help them.”

The children, who were more than elated to see the musician’s visit, entertained them with poetry recitals and other performances.

Meanwhile, Samini says he will launch his foundation, which will help most of these schools in few weeks. He also encouraged his colleagues in the industry and actors to continue helping the society.

In an interview with the proprietress madam Mariam Adeibi, she disclosed that she has being running the school single handedly for the past five years. The school has over 76 children orphans who were brought to the school under different social circumstances.

Asked what she really needs to make her work easier and also make the children comfortable, Mariam said “The only and most important thing we need right now is a bigger and better school building”.
