All is set and the golfing gladiators are battle ready for the Saham Insurance Classic, scheduled for the Tema Country Golf Club this Thursday.
The four-day event, put together by The Quest Sports Management Company Limited, will see the ultimate winner walking away with ¢10,000, with a chance to win the Foton Conqueror Foton 4X4 Pick up in the hole-in-one challenge.
The forthcoming event, beginning this Thursday May 29 to June 1, becomes the fourth in the series of professional golf tournaments on The Quest Professional Tour.
Following the battle of the Gladiators at the Tafo Golf Club, in Tafo, the Abaloo Ranking Table has shown very interesting developments, as the Professional Golfers jostle for ranking points in the Tema showpiece.
Expected to do battle in the special competition designed for pro golfers are current leader on the Abaloo Ranking Table with 3,750 points, two-time winner Vincent Torgah, 450 points ahead of John Mawuli and 550 points ahead of Godwin Sai.
The inaugural champion Victor Brave Mensah, in fourth place with 3,100 points on the ranking, Emos Korblah, Theophilus Gorvinus and Stephen Klah appear battle ready too.
