Veep Signs PV Obeng’s Book Of Condolence

The Vice President, Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur, on Thursday signed the Book of Condolence at the residence of the late Paul Victor Obeng, Senior Presidential Advisor.

Mr. Amissah-Arthur, who was accompanied by his wife, Matilda Amissah-Arthur, described Sir P.V. Obeng as ‘full of life, vigorous in his interaction’ and ‘a natural leader when there was work to do’.

‘He was generous with his time and his intellectual depth and grasp of issues determined the practical solutions to many of the challenges that confronted us’, the Vice President wrote.

Mr. Amissah‐Arthur, who further wrote that ‘at Senchi he agreed to chair the difficult team tasked with finding long-term solutions to economic management challenges,’ observed that it was ‘difficult to think of PV in the past tense’.
