GPL thrills: Lions too strong for Amidaus Professionals

Relegation strugglers Amidaus Professionals failed to withstand the might of Kpando Heart of Lions who were keeping the chase on the League Champions Asante Kotoko.

Mohammed Razir and Coney Idan gave Lions two early goals before Isaac Owusu pulled one back for the harbor boys with seven minutes to end the first half.

Back from the half time break Amidaus had the opportunity to draw level but Nana Poku missed from the spot kick in the 48 minute.

Prince Acquah in the 81 minute put the game beyond the recovery of the home team for the Kpando lad to run away with all the three maximum points.
