Youth and Sports Minister Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah last week hosted his Zambian counterpart Hon Kabwili Chishimba and his delegation.

The Zambian sports chief and his entourage were in the country to understudy the Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneurial Development Agency (GYEEDA) module.

The visit was crowned with a special dinner at the Labadi Beach Hotel where the two ministers interacted and concretized their discussions in an informal manner.

‘We are here to share ideas as well as study your youth and employment program so as to tackle what confronts us in our country,’ the Zambian Minister said.

To him, the visit offered both countries, especially Zambia, the opportunity to find solutions to tackle its youth employment problems.

Hon Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah commended his colleague for making time for the visit which, he pointed out, would to a large extent benefit the countries in terms of collaboration and exchange programs.

It was an evening that saw popular film actress Jackie Appiah being handed her Brazil 2014 World Cup Ambassadorial certificate and she was commissioned into her new office.

The actress was out of the country when her fellow World Cup Ambassadors including John Dumelo, Abedi Pele and Azumah Nelson received their certificates at a special program a few days ago.
