KUMASI ASANTE Kotoko defender, Abeiku Ainooson has stated that he is not disappointed after he was left out of Coach Kwasi Appiah’s provisional 23-man squad for the Mundial.

According to the in-form defender of the Porcupine Warriors, he is still young and has a lot of years ahead of him.

‘My time will come’ was the response of the Kumasi Asante Kotoko player when he was asked on Angel FM whether he was crestfallen for being overlooked by Coach Appiah.

Abeiku Ainooson reiterated that he is young and that he would certainly have the opportunity of representing his country at the highest stage of world football one day, before he hangs his boots.

The Kotoko player said he only needs to continue working hard and in God’s own time, he would be selected to feature for the senior national team at the World Cup.

Abeiku Ainooson promised his full support for his colleagues who managed to make Coach Appiah’s squad, so that they would shine and make mother Ghana proud in Brazil.

‘I will support the Black Stars with all my energy so that they would lift high the red, yellow and green flag of Ghana when the best football teams in the world assemble in Brazil,’ he assured.
