Berekum Chelsea deny Zamalek bid for defender Ahmed Adams

Berekum Chelsea have denied reports of a tabled bid from Zamalek for defender Ahmed Adams.

The Egyptian giants were reported to have made an offer to sign the ex Ghana U20 player having been impressed with his performance in his debut Champions League campaign two years ago.

But the General Manager of Berekum Chelsea Nana Oduro Sarfo says no offer had been made by Zamalek.

“I can tell you that reports of a bid from Zamalek for Ahmed Adams are not true,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

Adams remains one of the surviving members of the extraordinary Chelsea team that made waves in their debut adventure in Africa.
