Inter Allies through to FA Cup final after defeating Feyenoord

Inter Allies are through to their first MTN FA Cup final after defeating Feyenoord 1-0 on Sunday in the last-four meeting at the Accra Stadium.

The win sets up an all-premiership final as the Tema side will play either Asante Kotoko or King Faisal in the final on 25 May.

A second half goal by Abdul Fatawu Safiu handed Inter Allies the win as it ended Feyenoord’s impressive run this season.

Despite reaching the final, Inter Allies have goalkeeper Osei Kwame to thank as he kept out Feyenoord’s push to send the game into extra time.

In injury time, goalkeeper Kwame saw a close effort come off his heel to keep a goal-bound shot out.
