KASAPREKO Company Limited (KCL), an indigenous beverage producer, has presented a cheque for GH¢15,000 towards the 15th anniversary of the enstoolment of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
In addition, the company handed over assorted Kasapreko products to support the Otumfuo’s anniversary celebration.
The Deputy General Manager of KCL, Mr Kojo Nunoo, who made the presentation, said Otumfuo’s contribution towards the development and growth of the region “had been tremendous since he was enstooled 15 years ago”.
He said the presentation was in recognition of the Asantehene’s injection of enthusiasm into the chieftaincy institution, adding that Otumfuo Osei Tutu’s development-oriented approach had highlighted some development concerns of the people and measures to address those problems.
Mr Nunoo observed that KCL had the firm conviction that the Asantehene’s moves would help accelerate the development of the country.
He, therefore, assured the gathering that the company would continue to support the Asantehene in his bid to transform the Ashanti Region.
