GCB Offers Packages To Brazil

Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) has conducted the second of three draws in its promotional campaign to select 10 more winners to watch the World Cup in Brazil as part of its pledge to send 30 customers to support the Black Stars.

The draw, conducted in collaboration with the National Lottery Authority (NLA), saw 10 winners from the regions and 30 non-winners who were awarded consolation prizes, including LED TV sets, replica jerseys and branded footballs.

The proud winners are Hutchful Jemimah, a customer at GCB Kasoa branch; Gbadamosi Alhaji Rahim, GCB Kaneshie Industrial area; Judy Dadson, GCB Cape Coast University branch; Kwagbenu Richard, of GCB Keta branch; and Osei Bonsu Jonathan GCB Mpraeso branch.

The rest are Kanyoke Stephen Evan, GCB Kumasi main branch; Acheampong Serwaa Felicia, GCB Bechem branch;Salia Anthony, GCB Takoradi main branch; Lakshimdhar Sahoo, GCB Damango branch;and Martison Eugene GCB Mampong Akuapem.

As part of the package, GCB will process all traveling documents including visas, tickets, accommodation as well as flight to and from Brazil and meals.

Doris Wunu, Head of Consumer Banking said, the campaign dubbed, ‘GCB 30 to Brazil’ promotion was aimed at sending 30 customers to the Mundial to increase the support base and showcase the potential of Brand Ghana to the world as an emerging market with opportunities for investment.

She added that it was important for the Bank to reward its customers and urged customers of the Bank to take advantage of the promotion by saving at least GH¢1,000.00 and its multiples.

The third draw of the promotion will be held on June 2 to select 10 customers to support the Black Stars.

The Bank in March this year launched the promotion to sponsor 30 of its customers to watch the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
