Black Satellites fly out this afternoon to face Sierra Leone in CAF U20 qualifier


Ghana U20 coach Sellas Tetteh has named an 18-man squad for their 2015 African Youth Championship second qualifying round tie against Sierra Leone on Sunday.

The experienced trainer’s pick include some of exciting youngsters in the Ghana Premier League.

It includes Hasaacas striker Samuel Afful, who was a member of Ghana’s silver-winning side at the 2014 Africa Nations Championship.

Kotoko right-back Christopher Bonney, Hearts of Oak defender Owusu Bempah, Isaac Quansah (Heart of Lions) and Inter Allies duo Jospeh Aidoo and Prosper Kassim.

The Black Satellites drew the Shooting Stars who eliminated the Petit Syli Nationale of Guinea by beating them home and away for a 2-0 aggregate win.

The first leg will be played in Freetown and the return leg in Tamale on 25 May.
