Ghana Institute Of Governance And Security’s Goodwill Message To South Africa As She Prepares To Elect Her National Assembly And Legislature

Ghana Institute of Governance and Security deems it necessary to issue this goodwill message to South Africa as her citizens prepare to vote on Wednesday 7th May 2014 to elect her National Assembly and Legislature in all the 9 provinces in South Africa.

We wish all 29 political parties and their presidential and provincial candidates a peaceful and successful election.

We also consider the upcoming election crucial and important as a result of the fact that 25 million registered voters are expected to vote in a process of deepening the democratic culture of South Africa after the dreadful apartheid.

The fifth election held under conditions of universal adult suffrage since the end of apartheid, we wish to remind all South Africans to be mindful of the fact that the whole continent of Africa is looking up to them to be exemplary since it is the most attractive country and largest economy in Africa.

God Bless South Africa
God Bless Africa.
