Kenpong To Fly Daddy Lumba …….For Brazil 2014

Kenpong Travel and Tours (KT&T) will fly high life ace Daddy Lumba (DL) and boxing great Professor Azumah Nelson, a Director of KT&T, to Brazil, for the 2014 World Cup, Mr Kennedy ‘Cappuccino’ Agyapong, CEO of KT&T, has confirmed.

To the KT&T boss, the initiative forms part of his company’s plans to provide quality entertainment for the many soccer fans that would be flying on his outfit’s ticket.

He said the duo would be there for the entire duration of the soccer festival to entertain both Ghanaians and foreign nationals.

‘We want to offer our clients the best of packages, hence this initiative. Lumba has been a very good friend and has decided to support the Black Stars in his own small way by entertaining soccer fans during the tourney,’ the former Kotoko director said in an interview.

Meanwhile, Lumba and fellow high life heavyweight Amakye Dede, also very good friend of Kenpong would be in action at the Miklin Hotel tonight in a concert code named: ‘Thank You Tour’.

And, one of the high profile personalities that would grace the event is Kenpong who was featured in DL’s hit track video ‘Ye die woho be towo’ (Yen tie obia) which literally means do what pleases you and don’t pay attention to your detractors.

The video, shot at Kenpong’s sleek residence at Airport, captures his luxurious fleet of cars including a customised Maybach coupled with a beautiful ambiance and ladies in the background could be linked to the success story of the new album.

The album, ‘Awosuo’ is barely four months on the market but it is enjoying massive airplay play in night clubs, pubs, funerals, on the streets and market places.

‘Amakye Dede was here yesterday to invite me for their ‘Thank You Show’ in Kumasi. Both of them (DL and Amakye) have been my very good friends for many years and they have promised to rock their teeming fans,’ Kenpong added.
