‘Keep Your Eyes On The Cross’

Believers of the gospel of Christ, clothed in all white attire to mark the victory Christ won for them on the cross were asked to endure long suffering as their day of resurrection (success) would be celebrated more than their day of pain.

Rev Sam Korankye Ankrah, Apostle General of the Royalhouse Chapel International, preaching the sermon titled, ‘Glory in Pain’ said Christians need to change their heart especially on the commemoration of the day their saviour resurrected from the dead.

He said although the journey of the Christian was sometimes filled with trials, like Jesus, they should not lose their focus on their assignment because at the end, their success, which for Christ was His victory over the devil and sin, would be celebrated.

‘What you are going through is but for a season, your day of resurrection will be celebrated more than your day of pain,’ he said.

Rev Korankye Ankrah also encouraged his congregation to see the problems they go through as predictions for future things to come. He said anytime Christians experience any form of problems, they should know that it was the forecast of better things to happen.

The Apostle General of Royalhouse Chapel said problems were also a reminder of the insufficiency of mankind, adding that man needs God to be fully sufficient in life.

‘Anytime you have a problem, know that it is carrying a unique blessing, so focus on the positive side and not the negative,’ he challenged his congregation.

He also noted that every problem has a message and a lesson to be learnt, thus, they should seek the face of God when they encounter challenges because ‘every challenge has a solution.’

He led the congregation into a time of prayer and worship unto the Lord for sending His only begotten Son to come and die for the sin of mankind.
