Dunkwa United head coach Yaw Acheampong has expressed satisfaction with his side’s 4-2 win over  XI Wise in the on-going National Division One Promotional Middle league play-offs.

The former Black Stars midfielder revealed that his players were more determined and psyched up to atone for their opening defeat  to Gold Stars.

“As you can see, the boys were more determined to make amends after the initial set-back. We worked on their psychic and pepped them up to beat XI Wise and that is what we have seen today. I am excited with the win”, he told Solar Fm in Dunkwa-On-Offin.

“We made two changes to starting XI and I must say my players were tactically disciplined and more responsive today.

“Going forward, I think that I have the best team in this Zone. It was just unfortunate that we lost our first game. We are now prepared and focused for the showdown with Feyenoord on Saturday.”

Dunkwa United come face to face with Feyenoord in one of the last Zone 2 matches on Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
