Yaw Donkor replaces Gbevlo-Lartey as National Security Coordinator

The Director of the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI), Mr Yaw Donkor has been asked to take over as National Security Coordinator.

He takes over from  Lt. Col. Larry Gbevlo-Lartey in acting position.

A statement released by the Information Ministry Tuesday afternoon said the new changes made by President John Dramani Mahama at the National Security Secretariat takes effect from May 12, 2014.

The statement said at a meeting with Lt. Col. Larry Gbevlo-Lartey, the President commended and thanked him for his loyalty and dedicated service to the State.

He is to be re-assigned later after taking his leave.

Mr  Pious  Awelinga  is to take over as  the  Acting Director   of  the  Bureau  of  National  Investigations  (BNI).
