Iberia and Samsung have joined forces to offer the services of Iberia.mobi, including boarding passes, on Samsung’s new mobile devices.
In this way, passengers will be able to put their boarding pass on their wrist to board their flight. Additionally, in an upcoming version of the Iberia app for Android, whenever passengers check in using their device and they synchronise their Samsung Gear 2, their boarding passes will automatically be downloaded to a wearable device.
‘Working on this app has been a challenge because we are producing prototypes, creating something that is new to the market. We are one of the first airlines to offer a wearable boarding pass, which we think will be very popular among our passengers,’ Miguel Ãngel Henales, Head of Iberia’s digital business, said.
