Ghana midfielder Daniel Adjei preaching focus ahead of TP Mazembe’s clash with Don Bosco in Congolese derby

Ghanaian midfielder Daniel Nii Adjei has urged his TP Mazembe side to remain focused ahead of their Congolese Super Ligue top-liner with Don Bosco.

The Ravens are eyeing revenge over the bitterest rivals after the defeated them 3-2 in the regular season clash at the Stade du TP Mazembe in early April.

The two sides face off in a tantalising clash at Stade Frédéric Kibassa Maliba in a cross-city rivalry tie and Adjei is urging his Mazembe side to keep their focus as they take another step towards success this season.

“We must confirm and take three important points from Don Bosco. So we must pay attention to this team; Don Bosco because they beat us this season and coming off a defeat. We must therefore remain highly concentrated and in our best shape to give the maximum.”

“It was fantastic for me to play in this big derby; against Bosco our direct competitor to the title. It was really special for me to play in the victory last weekend. This result gives us more opportunities for the rest of the competition, it only remains to bring victories to be champion of the DRC. ”

Ghanaian quartet Solomon Asante, Gladson Awako, Richard Kissi Boateng and Yaw Frimpong are also expected to be in action for Mazembe.
