Sale Of Secondhand Underwear Booming Because Of Current Hardship In The Country – Pratt Jnr.

The Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr. has said the state of Ghana’s economy now is excruciating.

According to him, the Mahama-led administration must have a finer view of the economy to save the country from the misfortune.

Discussing the state of Ghana’s economy on Adom FM, the outspoken seasoned journalist opined that, it is worrying how ladies are purchasing used underwear due to the hardship in the country.

He noted that the used undies traders are making good sales because majority of Ghanaians cannot afford conspicuously new ones due to hardship.

“Now secondhand underwear (panties and brassiere) traders are making lots of money. It is amazing how ladies are in mad rush for it. This is because of the unbearable hardship in the country now, If not, who will opt for someone’s used panties and bra knowing very well of the health implications.

“…You will see nice ladies purchasing these used panties because things are very hard. Gone are the days when no one would want to wear even used cloths, but now, people rush for used panties and bra,” Kwesi Pratt Jnr. said.

However, he also claimed that some “politicians and top class lawyers are all customers of bend down boutiques. Go to the court and see judges clad in secondhand clothing, it is amazing”.
