Find Out What Nigerian Sports Star Has To Say About Tennis Championship In Japan

Kazeem Makanjuola, winner of the National Table Tennis Classic in 2013, said he is 100% ready for the World Team Table Tennis Championship that will be held in April-May 2014 in Tokyo, Japan.

Makanjuola claimes that he is ready due to his rigorous trainings and that it will ensure good outing.

The competition will start on April 28th and will finish on May 5th.

According to Makanjuola he has been training for this very hard ever since his GAC Group 2014 ITTF World Tour Open in Spain and since he was in Kuwait from Feb. 12 to Feb. 16, and in Doha, Qatar, from Feb. 18 to Feb. 23 training.

He also said that the competitions mentioned above were a part of his trainings for the forthcoming competition in Japan. He claims he did not skip any trainings.

Makanjuola mentioned that he is ready both physically and psychologically for the Championship and right now all he has to do is relax and achieve an open state of mind to be free of worries.

“I want to use the opportunity to prove myself and make Nigerians believe in me that I have what it takes to make the country proud,’’ Makanjuola said.

Kazeem Makanjuola added that he was going to play following the instructions of NTFF, Nigeria Table Tennis Federation coach, Nosiru Bello.

He added that “The coach has been very instrumental to my training and he points out areas that I need to work on and I have been doing just that .”
