Nduom Urges Ghanaians To Work For Change In Attitudes

The 2012 Presidential candidate of the Progressive People’s Party, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, has urged Ghanaians to work for change.

In a statement to mark Easter, Dr Nduom further called on Ghanaians to pray for better attitudes, discipline, democracy, the ability to choose leaders freely at the local level, a sustained battle against corruption and prosperity that comes from a strong, sustained work ethics.

“Let our politics bring us unity and leadership that is caring and selfless,” he stated.

According to Dr Nduom, as a people, we must not forget that Easter time is a religious period.

“Let us all remember and consider how the transformation brought about by the risen Christ has affected the entire world for generations,” he stated.

He said as one writer put it, “For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied. But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.”

“These specific bible verses tell us that the Christian faith is dependent upon the resurrection of Jesus. Without it there would be absolutely no Christian faith. Go through these impressive Easter Bible verses in order not to forget that there is an important cause for this to take place,” he stated.
