Leicester City will be without Ghana defender Jeff Schlupp for their Championship clash with Bolton on Tuesday.
Schlupp had to be helped off the field during City’s 1-0 victory over QPR on Saturday after injuring his knee.
The left-back had a scan, which came back better than first feared, but City boss Nigel Pearson confirmed he had no intention of risking him tomorrow.
“It doesn’t appear to be as bad as we thought. He still went to have a scan. Hopefully he won’t be (out for) too long,” said Pearson at this morning’s press conference.
“I’m not even going to contemplate him being involved. But he’s in good spirits. Paul Konchesky is fit so that’s good from that perspective.”
Schlupp could gatecrash Ghana’s World Cup.
