Inter Allies win to lift themselves from bottom ranks

Inter Allies lifted themselves from the relegation zone in the Premier League after a deserved 1-0 victory over Wa All Stars on Wednesday.

A late goal by Shaffiu Abdul Fatawu handed the league debutants all three points at the Tema Stadium.

Inter Allies are now placed 13th on the log and one point away from relegation.

At the Bechem Park, home side Bechem United were worth the win as they strolled to a 1-0 victory over New Edubiase.

Top-scorer, Augustine Okrah was on target again as he scored in the 44th minute to take his tally to 12 goals.

In Kumasi, King Faisal defeated Amidaus Professionals 3-2 at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Daniel Bonfah scored a brace for King Faisal after Prince Boateng had put them in the lead.

But goals from Daniel Gozar and Isaac Amoah for Amidaus were not enough to earn them a share of the spoils.
