Malaysian side Kelatan have finally confirmed the signing of Ghana striker Prince Tagoe on a free transfer.

The 27-year-old has inked a long-term deal at the club after completing formalities.

“We can confirm that Ghanaian former World Cup and Bundesliga player Prince Tagoe has signed a contract with us and could be fielded against Sarawak this Friday,” Kelatan president Annuar Musa confirmed via his facebook account.

The TSG Hoffenheim striker joins the Malaysian side with wealth of experience having being capped 36 times at the international level.

Kelantan are fifth on the 12-team table with the second half of the season just underway.

Tagoe has previously played for UAE’s Al Shabab, Saudi side Ettifaq, Partizan Belgrade and Turkish top-flight side Bursaspor.

He played at the 2010 FIFA World Cup finals in South Africa and has made 36 appearances for the Ghana national team.
