I Didn’t Influence Election Of New Executives—Alan


Former flagbearer aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng has dismissed claims that the new crop of NPP executives will work to support his candidature.

According to him even though he has a close relationship with some of the current crop of National Executives, he did not in any way influence their election.

“Kwabena Agyepong and Paul Afoko have been my longtime friends, but if you ask them, they will tell you I was too distant from what was going on; I decided as a matter of principle that I will not seek in any way to influence the elections that were going on,’’ he told host of Metro TV’s Good Evening Ghana on Tuesday.

National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Paul Afoko had ealier stated that he would not be used as a conduit to promote, Mr. Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng’s Presidential bidding.

He assured NPP supporters that he will stay neutral in the NPP’s flagbearership race.

And Mr. Kyeremanteng on his part stated that he does not seek to influence the thinking of the new executives in anyway.
