Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has been awarded an honorary doctorate degree by the Day Spring Christian University of Mississippi during a ceremony in Accra.
Appia, who would be leading the Black Stars at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil was was awarded a Doctor of Psychology in Sports.
He was decorated with his honours at a ceremony held at the School of Allied Science campus in Accra on Saturday.
Day Spring Christian University of Mississippi became the first university to honour the Ghanaian coach.
