Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah will hold a meeting with members of his backroom staff an management on Monday as he firms up his final squad for the 2014 World Cup.

The 53-year-old is in Ghana after a tour of Europe which landed him in some of the stellar clubs abroad as he polishes his technical know-how ahead of the global showpiece.

He visited new-looking English giants Liverpool and visited some of his key players ahead of this summer’s World bonanza in Brazil.

The Black Stars trainer will hold a crunch meeting with his core team members at the Ghana FA secretariat today to discuss a number of burning issues.

Top of the agenda will be the final programme for his team which includes a tour of USA with friendly games against Honduras and Netherlands lined up.

Appiah will submit a provisional 30-man squad to FIFA early May before deciding on his final 23 later that month.
