The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has ordered a temporary ban on Asante Kotoko SC. from using the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi as its home venue with immediate effect for four matches.
This decision has become necessary in view of the unfortunate incident when a cross section of their fans attacked center Referee Biney after Kotoko lost by 0-1 to Kpando Hearts at home.
This means the most anticipated return leg between Kotoko and Hearts will not come off at the Baba Yara as scheduled. Meanwhile, the MTN FA Cup match Kotoko and Ashgold will now be played at the Essipong Stadium in Takoradi.
