Kwabena Agyepong’s Accident: It Was Only God!!!

The Chairman of the Alliance For Accountable Governance (AFAG), Dr. Nana Ayew Afriyie, has disclosed that the aspiring General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Agyepong will be fit to attend the much-awaited Congress in Tamale.

Kwabena Agyepong and his campaign team were en route to a press conference in Kumasi on Tuesday, 8th April, 2014 when the vehicle they were travelling in was involved in an accident.

Speaking to PEACE FM news in an interview on Wednesday, Dr. Afriyie, who was part of the survivors of the accident, pointed out that it was only Kwabena Adjei who was admitted at the 37 Military Hospital.

“David Opoku (OPK, an aide to Kwabena Agyepong) and I were admitted at the St John’s Hospital in Accra.”

It was raining heavily and all of a sudden, the car just started spinning… Kwabena Agyepong got down first and started helping the rest of us. He (Kwabena) was complaining of pain in his left arm and a Good Samaritan took him to the 37 Military hospital. There is a possibility that his hand will be in a Plaster Of Paris (POP) but he will be able to attend the congress. If we look at how mangled the car was, you can attest to the fact that it was God who saved us,” Dr. Afriyie said.

He further advised drivers to be careful when driving, especially during the rainy season, so as to avoid accidents.
