The Acting National Treasurer of the CPP, Dr Adolf Lutterodt, says the CPP will not merge with the NDC.
This is because the two parties have different ideologies and agenda.
Dr Lutterodt said though the party is open to work with any political party, a merger with the NDC especially is out of the question.
Dr Lutterodt also spoke on the strategies the party has adopted to revitalise it to capture power in the 2016 elections.
In a reaction, NDC’s Deputy General Secretary, Kofi Adams, believes that the CPP decision will not affect the NDC in anyway and that Samia Nkrumah is not the only member of the CPP.
