Nokia has unveiled various customer care products to cater for its loyal customers and give them the best value for money.
Addressing the media at a launch last Friday at Midcom head office in Accra, Adeniyi Adebute, Care Account and Channel Manager, Nokia West and Central Africa, outlined that, the core value of Nokia brand focused mainly on durability and would not relax on its success but improve on its customers support to continue to be a leader in its sector.
According to him, customers who purchase Nokia phones from its authorized centre stood a chance of benefiting and enjoying from the various care products available to Nokia customers.
In explaining, Adeniyi Adebute stated that customers would enjoy a 12 month warranty in case their phones developed a fault. This he said applies to customers who send their phones to an authorized care partner, Link Africa, to repair their Nokia mobile phones.
He added that once an unauthorized person or shop opens the phone for repairs it voids the warranty.
“If you buy a phone and it does not on, you can return it within 48 hours to be checked or replaced if not repairable. Phones like Nokia 105, 106 and 107 would be replaced for customers if faulty,” he said.
However, he disclosed that Nokia has engaged the services of couriers in Accra to facilitate the process, adding that the company has opened new service centers in Osu and Circle, and urged all customers to visit the centers for any enquiries and retailers would also be visited to check whether they have problems.
Adeniyi Adebute said Nokia will also soon launch an event christened Learning Zone on their website for customers to be trained on how to use their Nokia phones and learn more about their devices, stressing that the trainer would respond to questions from customers live and instantly.
Mr. Akhtar Khan, Managing Director of Midcom Limited, sole distributor of Nokia phones in Ghana, said his outfit was happy to be associated with Nokia, adding that the partnership would enhance economic growth.

The aim of the event was to officially make public the Nokia Care Warranty details to all existing and potential Nokia customers whiles generating more awareness for the Nokia Care Service Centers across the country and re-emphasizing Nokia’s commitment to service and care excellence.
