korle-bu-teaching-hospitalSome senior staffs of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital are accusing the hospital’s management of victimization.

According to them, some staffs have been sacked for speaking against some management decisions.

The interim president of the hospital’s Senior Staff Association, Charles Offei-Palm called on members to stand up for their rights and be bold to deal with victimization.

“Staff and members of Korle Bu should arise for their rights and…senior staff of Korle Bu should arise for their welfare should also arise against intimidation,” he admonished.

Speaking to Citi News, at the pre-launch of the Hospital’s Senior Staff Association, Mr. Offei-Palm revealed that victimization and intimidation has become “a normal practice in Korle Bu that anybody who speaks against what is the norm and we think that should end.”

He alleged that some members of staff have been sacked for standing up to management.

Mr. Offei-Palm urged the board of the hospital to seek the welfare of the staff to enable them give off their best in undertaking their duty.

But the acting Chief Executive Officer of the hospital, Reverend Albert Botchway has denied the accusations.
