NPP Still Solid In Eastern Region

The Eastern Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Prince Aboagye, has assured sympathizers of the party that the NPP was still solid in the Region and would win the highest number of votes it had ever won in the Region in the 2016 general elections.

He said the regional executives were putting strategies in place to ensure that, the party increased its popular votes and win additional parliamentary seats in the Region.

Mr Aboagye therefore appealed to party supporters to unite and work together as one people with the main objective of winning power from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in 2016.

He was said this at a day’s workshop for constituency communication officers of the party at Koforidua .

Mr Aboagye urged NPP supporters and sympathizers in the region to continue to work hard and remain vigilant at all times.

The Eastern Regional Director of Communications of the NPP, Mr David Prah, appealed to the communication officers to be informed about current issues in the country to be able to effectively debate their opponents at all times.

He called on the party’s foot soldiers and supporters to continuously trumpet the achievements of the former NPP government.

Mr Adomako Barfi, a member of the national communication team, said the implementation of the National Health Insurance Scheme, the Capitation Grant, the School Feeding Programme, the construction of roads throughout the country and the National Youth Employment Programme were some of the laudable achievements of the NPP that party members should tell Ghanaians about.

He said the party had a responsibility to protect the country’s democracy and that could be done by winning the 2016 elections.
