Madam Bayel made the appeal during the launch of Fatima Farida Memorial Educational Complex in Wa.
She said the role of pre-schools in child development could not be over emphasized, hence, the need to seek professional knowledge in training them.
She commended authorities of the school for making the facility a standard place for learning and advised the workers and teachers to be loving and caring towards the children in order to boost their confidence and love for school.
Sheikh Abdul Nashiru-Deen, the proprietor of the school who spoke on the theme, Early Childhood Education a Key Component of Child Development said a childs brain development was 90% complete at age five.
Sheikh Nashiru-Deen stated that discipline and morality could only be acquired at the pre-school level and that about 80% of children who speak English Language fluently are said to have attended pre-school.
He said the school would combine both Western and Islamic education in a manner that would ensure that children who attended the school would become both morally and academically sound.
