NPP delegates must reward hard work – Kwabena Agyepong

Aspiring General Secretary of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Agyei Agyepong is appealing to delegates to reward his dedication to the party by voting for him in its upcoming congress in Tamale.

“I believe I have the institutional memory of our great party to put me in good stead to steer the affairs of our party in the capacity of its next General Secretary” he added.

Kwabena Agyepong said his decision to contest the position is borne out of his strong desire to serve the party with a clear conscience, pure motives and a solid character which is premised on “Competence, Compassion, and Courage”.

According to him, success has never come easy but with the right attitude and approach, the hurdles he describes as insurmountable, can be overcome.

The aspiring General Secretary said he would be a practical General Secretary ready to work closely with the party officers at the Polling Station, Constituency and Regional offices to ensure the NPP is provided with the required logistics and training, in a timely manner, to prosecute an effective campaign simultaneously in all the 275 constituencies during the 2016 electioneering campaign.

He also underscored the need for the party to revive the spirit of voluntarism to ensure a resounding victory in the 2016 general elections.

“Service, Sacrifice and Selflesness, should underpin the party’s organizational, electioneering and grass-root mobilization,” he stressed.

Kwabena Agyepong noted that his long dedicated service to the party is a matter of public record which he says gives him an advantage over his opponents.

“We cannot fail Ghanaians in 2016. Let’s think victory and vote Kwabena Agyei Agyepong for a resounding victory in 2016,” he stated.

Kwabena Agyepong appealled to party members to eschew divisive tendencies and be guided by principles of choice because “the very issues that unite us far outweigh those that divide us”.
