Braimah Kamoko AKA Bukom Banku is so fired up to silence rival Ayitey Powers when they finally face-off on April 18 in Accra, he is revising notes on his strategy for the mega fight.

Banku had hitherto pledged to stop Powers in round 7 with his opponent responding that he will end their highly publicized non-title Cruiserweight bout much earlier in round 6.

Kamoko is however singing a new tune now, insisting his confidence has been buoyed in training and preparation for the fight he now sees himself knocking Powers out much earlier.

“This is an easy fight, Ayitey Powers cannot give me any problem. I will beat him like a baby. I said that I will knock him out in round 7 but I’ve changed my mind. I will finish him in round 5,” Kamoko said when he visited the offices of fight sponsors, Kasapreko last week.

“Everybody in Ghana wants to see this fight and I promise to give them a good show. Everybody wants to come and see me, not Ayitey Powers. I will stop him, if I don’t stop him GBA should ban me for 3 years,” Bukom Banku added.

Kasapreko Managing Director and Group Chairman, Dr. Kwabena Agyei expressed delight at hosting Kamoko adding that the leading local beverage manufacturers are excited to be a partner of the mega fight scheduled for the Accra Sports Stadium.

“We believe in the Ghana brand and encouraging young people to pursue and develop their talents so it was like what we have been waiting for when we got the proposal to be part of this fight. We hope we can support Ghana’s rich boxing talents to fulfil their talents,” Dr. Agyei said.
