Information reaching DAILY GUIDE indicates that the entire township of Bogoso, a mining community in the Western Region, was thrown into mourning last Friday when news broke out that two natives of the area had been electrocuted.

According to sources, the deceased persons, Emmanuel Kwofie and Stephen Tei, aged 25 and 30 respectively, met their untimely death when they were assisting a crane to remove a metal container from a particular location in the town.

DAILY GUIDE learnt that an overhead live cable had fallen on the metal container which Emmanuel and Stephen held while the container was being lifted by the crane and allegedly got electrocuted.

The lifeless bodies of the two men had been deposited at the Bogoso Government Hospital while some other guys who also sustained injuries were receiving treatment at the hospital.
