Ghana News Agency sports journalist, Veronica Commey has put the name of Ghanaian Sports journalists in shame in far away Costa Rica after entering the Central America country without legal documents, precisely visa to cover the ongoing female U-17 world cup.
Commey, who should have known better, is now in the custody of the Costa Rican Police seeking for help.
By the time l got this report she was profusely crying like a baby and it is a warning to all Ghanaian journalists to pass through the appropriate quarters if they are about to embark on any journey.
At the time of going to press, Ghanaian officials leading the Black Maidens delegation in Costa Rica were doing everything possible to get her released and issued with legal documents to extend her stay in that county for coverage of the 16-team tournament.
