NPP Will Lose 2016 Elections Woefully If The Party Intends Rigging

A member of the Government’s Communication Team, Bernard Anim Piesie has warned the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) to dissuade their minds from embarking on peddling lies and the use of ‘ways and means’ to win the 2016 general elections.

His warning came after the aspiring First Vice Chairman of NPP Michael Omari Wadie called on party delegates to elect National Executives who are wise and experienced in the style of the ruling party in winning elections.

Michael Omari Wadie stressed it is undeniable fact that the NDC is good in stealing votes but poor in governance, hinting that NPP is known for its exceptional performance in governance but poor in elections.

But the NDC Communicator countered on OkayFM’s Ghana Decides’ program that the winning capabilities of the ruling party is due to its scientific approach to politics.

According to him, the NPP is still reeling from the shock of their 2008 and 2012 electoral defeat and appears confused, adding that the opposition party failed to convince Ghanaians to accept their educational policy because of the inherent lies embedded in the promise.

“They should state what they can do and not to lie to Ghanaians…if they have a mindset to rig the 2016 elections in order to come to power, they will lose the election woefully…Ghanaians accepted the educational policy of NDC because we promised to start the free SHS policy with accessibility and quality first. Ghanaians are wise to know the truth as they saw the lies in the Free SHS policy of NPP and Nana Akufo Addo,” he opined.
